In this Business module, I had learnt some important lessons. First of all, I had learnt that what is a true business and how to start a business. When we do business, we need to have business ethics and social responsibility. When we manage a business, we need to plan, organize, lead and control, these are the 4 components of management process. Last but not least, I had learnt what is marketing and how important is the marketing. By using all the knowledge that I learnt in all these lessons, I can make a business last long and successfull. My favorite topic is Lecture 4: Managing a business. Management process can help us to reduce the chances of business failure, overcome problem and ensure smooth-running of the business. If we fail to plan, then we are planning to fail. Thus, doing a business we always need to have 4 components of management process which I had mentioned earlier: Plan, organize, lead and control. My least favorite topic is 'functions of a business' because I had learnt it before and I already have the knowledge about it. Lastly, I found that the topic that most applicable to our future life is 'Leading your people'. Leading is one component of the management process. To organize our people effectively, a suitable organizational structure is required. A business can run smoothly with the effectiveness of leadership style and skills.
