Above is the question for our exercise. In this assignment, we need to determine the total surface area of the object, calculate the volume of the object and construct the model after we determined all the measurement. I'm group with Lim Chong Min, Sharon Chow Ci Yung, Esther Lim Qiu Qiu and Tan Zi Cin. We do the calculation together and after we get the final answer, we re-wrote the calculation. Below is the steps and calculation to get the answer.
Assignment 1
Volume and Area
Mathematics

We had used some mathematical theories to determine some of the measurements. The theory that we used most was trigonometry. For example, we used Law of cosine to determine the angle of sector. Besides, we use tangent to find the angle of sector too.
Here is the images of model that we construct:

Reflection:
This is the first assignment for Mathematics. Through this assignment, I learnt to do calculation by refering to the formulae and I had learnt how to construct a model with the readings of measurement that we got. It was fun when we discussed the questions and done it together, especially when we construct the model. A small mistake in calculation will require us to redo again. But the end when we get the same answer, we were so exited. I had learnt the importance of group work through this assignment. Every group members need to cooperate with each other so that we can complete out task more efficiently.

Assignment 2
Survey
For this assignment 2, we were required to form into a group of 5-6 people. My group members were Lim Chong Min, Sharon Chow, Hong Sang Won, Tan Zi Cin and Esther Lim. We were required to decide on an issue which can be compared in two different geographical locations: Malacca and Klang Valley. We had chosen to study on the expenses on car of residents at the chosen location. For those residents who own cars, we identified their spending behavior such as how much money they spent on purchasing their respective cars, expenses on petrol per month and their car maintenance fees. For those who modified their cars, we also identified how much they spent on modifying their cars.On the other hand, for those who do not own a car, we identified how much they spend on transportations. We were then need to produce a report and an infographic board by refering to the results of survey that we had conducted. The purpose of this assignment was to help students understand more about statistics and learnt how to produce a report based on all the date we had collected.
Here is our group's infographic board:

Here is our report:

Reflection:
Through this assignment, I had learnt a few things. First of all, I had learnt to set survey questions by understanding the topic that we had chosen. We discuss the questions and set the questions together. After we had prepared a series of questions, we printed 100 copies to be distribute in Malacca and Klang Valley. I was in charged of the 25 copies of Klang Valley. Next, I had learnt to collect the data and tabulate it into the report. Besides, I had learnt how to design an informative infographic board and my creativity had been improved. I had learnt how to calculate even more better and most importantly, I had learnt how to do a statistics.
